Breaking Ground

If you’ve been following along with our latest updates, you may have heard that the Dressler Automation team is in the process of getting a brand new building purpose-built for our needs. Our last update showcased the final 3D drawings and plans for what the completed campus will look like: The design is exciting, and includes a rooftop lounge and solar panel array, along with spacious offices and a warehouse. The training area will provide our space for engineers to sharpen their skills with FANUC, KUKA, Siemens, and more robotics/control systems that follow as our service offerings grow.

So far, the plans and illustrations have been our only glimpse of what the building will become. But today, ground broke on the lot and construction is officially ready to begin.

Of course, groundbreaking is a cause for celebration. Team members from both our US and German teams were present, and our company president Ralph Dressler gave a speech. The actual ground-breaking was done with a gold shovel, which has been signed by our entire team for preservation.

After the groundbreaking, our team gathered on the field for a summer BBQ party and looked forward to the building’s completion over food and drinks. It won’t be a long wait: move-in date is scheduled for early 2020. Check back soon for more updates on our construction project, or follow Dressler Automation on LinkedIn for latest news.
